As Validator

Node.js

To use Jedison as a JSON validator, these options are required:

  • schema defines the validation rules. This is the only mandatory option when using Jedison for validation. The validator will check JSON data against this schema without needing a UI container or theme.
const Jedison = require('jedison')

const jedison = new Jedison.Create({
  schema: {
    title: 'Person',
    type: 'object',
    properties: {
      name: {
        type: 'string',
      },
      age: {
        type: 'integer',
        minimum: 0,
      }
    },
    required: [
      'name',
      'age'
    ],
  },
})

jedison.setValue({
  name: 'Alice',
  age: 30
})

console.log(jedison.getErrors())

// Valid: outputs is an empty array
